Professional cuddling? Cuddle Therapy? Let’s talk about it briefly. For starters, it’s a real thing! It was the first thing that came to mind when I was drawing this, THOUGH this drawing clearly displays non-platonic relations. Anyhow, the goal of Professional Cuddling is to provide people a safe space to feel respected, accepted, and worthy for exactly who they are. This form of touch therapy is completely platonic. Who are the people paying for cuddles? Maybe you're just busy but find that when you are free none of your friends are. Maybe you're in a hospital bed. Maybe you’re simply a touchy person. The list goes on. There is no professional licensing, but some companies offer training and even certification.
